LIghthouse IT is owned and operated by Ron Schepers.  Ron started doing website development and management in 2010 in response to what he saw was a growing need for professional websites for promoting businesses or organisations. It was through his ownership of an online directory business that it came to his attention the number of businesses that had no website at all, an unattractive website, or one that didn’t do well in internet searches. Having been asked to help develop websites for a number of his customers, he decided to turn this into a business.

He has extensive experience in Information Technology in a variety of roles including Computer Programming, Website Design and Development, Network Engineering, Systems Administration, Transition Management and IT Management. He has worked with small businesses as well as large enterprises such as Nelson Marlborough District Health Board and Air New Zealand. This mix of skills allows him to not only design professional websites, but to also offer a variety of other IT services.

There is no project too small or too large and Ron has a “can-do” attitude. He enjoys the creative process of website development and the reward of seeing a project through from beginning to end.

Lighthouse IT is based in Cape Foulwind, near Westport on the West Coast of New Zealand.
